SUMMER WITH BLUSH ELEGANCE

Putting my best foot forward on this Sunday funday! I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend. As the festivities are winding down, I'm prepping for a busy and productive week. My Sunday's consist of a morning movie with the bf (he's a super movie buff), a trip to Costco, loads of laundry, blogging, catching up on emails and getting ready for a hectic Monday. Just FYI - we watched 4 movies this weekend! Lol, we were catching up on movies that came out while we were in Paris and Texas.

Here's a quick rundown:

1. King Arthur - Charlie Hunnam - YUMMY. Great movie. A definite must watch. It was very engaging the entire time.
2. War of the Planet of the Apes - Surprisingly enjoyable for me. I wasn't a huge fan of the Apes films, but this one was actually pretty good. I am a fan of Caesar now.
3. Spiderman Homecoming - Tom Holland. Hands down my favorite Spiderman to date. He 100% beats out Tobey and Andrew. And you can never go wrong with a Marvel movie, ever.
4. Girls Trip - THE. FUNNIEST. MOVIE. OF. THE. SUMMER. If you've ever gone on a girls trip, you'd understand. It's such a well written movie that isn't super cheesy. It's easy to relate to, gives you the feels and makes you literally almost want to pee your pants because of how funny it is. That Tiffany Haddish is hilarious.

Fashion Tip: A few tips for you. 1. Blues and whites go really well together. 2. There's nothing wrong with pairing blue and blue. 3. A pair of great sunnies make the BEST accessory if you're not feeling your make up.

SIMPLY SOPHISTICATED

Hello everyone and happy almost Friday! I hope you are all having a good week. It's been pretty hot lately and I'm definitely feeling the summer vibes. I feel as if I've been playing catch up the last few weeks because the boyfriend and I have been traveling a lot lately. As much as I love the trips, I always fear coming back to 3,693,402 emails. We just got back from Paris and then Texas. Totally different locations, I know. Lol, Paris was amazing as always and Texas was HOT, as always. But it's great to be home! So let's talk about my new favorite transition pants. I call them transition pants because they're great for the office and cute and stylish for anything after. Add a blazer to this outfit and I'm perfect for the office.

Fashion Tip: These pants are easy to style. You can add a blazer like I mentioned earlier to make it office appropriate. You can also swap out the heels for some loafers or slides for a more casual and laid back look.

The style of these pants are slim and nicely fitted and I don't know about you but I am a fan of anything that hugs the butt area ;). They hug in all the right places for a flattering, yet fit look. I like the color because it's very summer. I like to pair light colors together so keep it fresh. When shopping for a good pair of pants, I look for two things: fit and material. I lean towards good and breathable material. I don't like things that are too tight that don't allow any room to move or breathe. Also, as I've gotten older, I tend to invest more in quality items that I know will last through the seasons and trends. Good pants are hard to find, so when you find one that fits, just buy them in different colors.
