ROMPING AROUND IN PARIS

Good morning everyone! The weather here is still nice but we ran into some rain. It comes and goes so you just have to either walk around with an umbrella in hand or be ok with sightseeing in the rain. But you still have a good chunk of time where you can walk around and do touristy things.

Fashion Tip: You can never go wrong with a big floppy hat for any vacation, especially one with the Eiffel Tower in the background. I don't have those fancy hat boxes to store my hat in so I pack it last but I stuff clothes (tops, tanks or socks) in the head area to keep it nice and firm so the shape doesn't get ruined in transit.

Paris the second time around is just as magical. There are view you just don't get tired of seeing. The Eiffel Tower is beautiful during the day and is even more jaw dropping in the evening when it sparkles and shines. There is so much history and culture here that anyone should feel lucky to get to be a part of it.

Bonjour everyone! It's me from Pareeeeeee! I'm so beyond blessed to be able to come back to this beautiful city twice in one year. The weather this time around is wonderful. A little rain here and there but not super cold like when I was here in March. It's perfectly summer right now with splashes of rain. I'm hoping to be able to show you the beautiful gardens in my next posts. In today's post, I'm sharing a hot spot must see in Paris, Trocadero!

If you're looking for the perfect photo op of the Eiffel Tower then this is definitely the place you should go. There are two different areas at the Trocadero that are picture perfect. I would advise you to go early because my boyfriend and I went at 7:15am and there were already two bridal photo sessions and a handful of other people doing photo shoots.

Fashion Tip: You can never have too many LBD's. Black dresses are a major staple in every woman's closet. I'm obsessing over this low plunge, lace dress right now with the thigh high slit. It's classy and sexy all rolled into one. Today's styling tip is one of my favorite tips: add a moto jacket. It seriously looks great with almost anything. The lace dress alone felt extremely dressy for me so adding the moto jacket added an edginess and casual feel to the outfit.

I'm on cloud 9 celebrating my anniversary here in Paris. Paris is such a beautiful and romantic city. You can just feel the love everywhere. The street style here is also always 100% on point. I love their effortless looks and outfits. The best part of wearing this dress was that once my shoot was over and I got tired of walking in heels, I tied a knot on the side of my dress so it wasn't too long and threw on my pair of adidas sneakers. Paris is absolutely the city to fall in love with and I'm so excited to show you more of the city in my next posts. Stay tuned for more!

SIMPLY SOPHISTICATED SUMMER

I wanted to start off by wishing all the dad's a happy Father's Day weekend! And to all the single mom's out there, Happy Mother's Father's Day you. To you my mama, I love you and thank you for everything you've done and continue to do for me, sissy and the family.

Summertime is here. It's all about dresses, pleats and florals! In today's post, I'll be styling a feminine dress and including my top picks for a simply sophisticated summer.

What I Wore:

Fashion Tip: I prefer to wear things that can be dressed up or down. This dress alone can be worn at the office with heels, or to brunch paired with wedges or sandals. I added a denim jacket to this dress to make it look a little more casual. This look is perfect for the summer. Light bright colors with classy pleats.

It's always important to know what style best fits your body type. Doesn't matter what the season or trend, what is most important in shopping is looking for items that flatters you. Once you know what that is, it becomes easier to try new trends. Here are my top 5 picks for the summer:

1. Neutrals - this two piece outfit paired with a khaki blazer is simple and classic.
2. Utility Dress - one of my favorite looks. It reminds me of the dress Priyanka Chopra wore to the Met Gala. FABULOUS.
3. Hot pink dress - the color and the sleeves are to die for!
4. Maxi dress - off the shoulder and stripes are so on trend.
5. Colorblock - summer calls for colors and pleats and this dress is the perfect combination of both!

There's always so many festivities during the months of summer that it's smart to have items in your closet that are interchangeable. TGIF everyone! I hope you all had a fun and productive week. Since today is casual Friday for most people, I wanted to blog about going back to the basics. There are certain items that never go out of style and a good pair of denim is one of them. It's really important to find a size, style and wash that fits and looks good on you. Frayed denim is a new twist on a good classic that is a fun new trend to try for the summer.

Fashion Tip: Here are some different styles you can try with your jeans. Pair them with bodysuits, a boyfriend blazer, long duster or a tucked in sweater. If you have a good pair of high waist jeans, rock the crop top look. Also, a look that never goes out of style is jeans + white tee + belt.

It's Friday and I couldn't be happier! It's been a hectic week so I'm ready for a nice and relaxing weekend. I'm thinking a couple photo shoots, a stroll at the beach and maybe squeeze in a hike before Monday rolls around again. As much as I would like to tell you my weekend is filled with tons of glamorous events, I spend most weekends doing laundry and running errands. On top of that, all of my friends now are either pregnant or getting married so a good majority of my time is spent at bridal or baby showers. Super happy for them but man oh man does it get expensive lol. Anyways, I'm starting to ramble so have a great weekend and come back next week for new outfit posts!

SUMMER ROMPER

Summer is here! It's time for maxi dresses, jumpsuits and rompers. Rompers are one of my favorite outfit pieces to have because they're super easy to style and are extremely comfortable to wear. You just need to find the right style that fits you.

Fashion Tip: What I love most about rompers is that you can dress them up or down pretty easily. In this outfit, I added color blocked heels and added casual sunglasses. To keep it casual, I can always add a denim jacket and exchange the heels for flats. If I wanted to dress it up, I can add stilettos and a long duster. Rompers can be the base of many different looks.

So! Summer is here and I am excited because I have a lot of travel plans. I'm heading back to Paris at the end of the month and I'm taking this little number with me. Can't wait to explore and sight see in my cute and comfortable romper. I was just in Paris and London in March so I am counting my blessings that we have another reason to go back so soon. I'll be packing lots of rompers and jumpsuits along with this cute weekender bag. Everyone needs an overnight back and I love the ones from Lulu Dharma.
