BANANA REPUBLIC: WHAT MOVES US

Good morning everyone! I hope you're all as excited as I am for Spring and Summer! As much as I enjoy layering up with scarves and cute coats, I just don't do well in the cold. So now that it's starting to warm up, I can retire the furs and bust out the cute rompers and jumpsuits. If you've been following me and my blog, you know that I repeatedly talk about easy peasy and comfortable outfits because there's nothing sexier than feeling comfortable in what you're wearing. It kind of goes hand in hand with "feeling comfortable in your own skin" doesn't it? :)

Fashion Tip: Dare to wear. I'm a strong believer in doing what you want and wear what you like. Trends come and go but confidence never goes out of style. So if there's a trend that you want to try, try it, but don't invest in it. When shopping, invest your money in quality and classic pieces that can be worn season after season.

So Spring is here! Easter is around the corner and summer is coming soon. It's time for fresh prints, fancy florals and feminine cuts. I try to incorporate a little more color during these months because well, it's a colorful time and bright colors make me happy. If you're like me and you're not as into the super feminine outfits with all the flowers on it then stripes would be a great option. They go well with everything and it's easy to style with. The romper I'm wearing is super comfortable. It's a really easy one piece with a nice tie in the middle. Also, I love how soft the material is. The colors are great for the season. Bold and nicely contrasted. Here are my top picks for what to stock your Spring closet with:

All my picks can go from day to night very easily. You can add a moto jacket with the dresses to give it a more street-style/casual look and the mules can be worn with jeans or trousers. PHOTO DIARY: LONDON

Hi everyone! After 6 days in Paris, we found our way to London. We were there during the Westminster Attack and we count our blessings that we left unscathed. We still keep London in our prayers. London is a beautiful place with amazing people. So in this blog post, I want to share some of the things I did.

Here are some places to see in London:

4. Buckingham Palace
5. Westminster Abbey

This was a BONUS! I have been searching for Harry Potter's Platform 9 3/4! It's literally right when you land in London. It's located at King's Cross.

London very much reminded me of New York. It has that similar busy city vibe. Unfortunately, 2 out of the 3 days we were there, it rained so that made it a little more difficult to walk around. P.S. London around March - pretty damn cold. So definitely layer up. Overall, I had an amazing time walking around the city and exploring all the pretty neighborhoods. After being in Europe for about 9 days, I gained a total of 7 lbs. I know because I purposely weighed myself before I left. All the wonderful food and delicious butter was worth it. But now I have to dedicate my life to only eating chicken and vegetables if I ever want to fit into my work dresses again.
