Good morning! How was everyone's weekend? I had the most relaxing weekend with the BF at JW Marriott in Palm Springs. Sometimes life sucks and you are constantly stressed about everything so you need to make time to have fun and just relax.

Ok. Enough about that. It's Monday and we're back on the grind! Today's outfit is showcasing my prim and proper side. You can't ever go wrong with a pencil skirt + crop top combo. Hashtag CLASSIC.

What I Wore: Skirt, Top, Heels, Clutch: Missguided | Sunnies: ZeroUV | Necklace: Forever 21

Fashion Tip: I might have mentioned this tip before but it's important so I'll say it again. It's all about proportions. When pairing a crop top with anything, make sure everything balances out. For me personally, if the skirt isn't high waisted enough where it shows my belly button, I most definitely won't pair it with a crop top.

Most days I prefer jogger pants, a plain white tee and some flats. But sometimes it's nice to get a little dolled up. I especially like to channel my girly ways for dinners, holiday parties and birthday outings. Like I said in my #30isthenewblack post... #24. Dress up. As much as possible and that means in the bedroom too. “Look good, feel good” has always been my mantra and it’s true. Be the best version of yourself and take care of yourself. Nothing kills a woman’s confidence more than her own insecurities.

Because I know this more than anyone.. Shit happens.. SO. “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle.”
