HM X ALEXANDER WANG

Not too long ago, H&M released it's most successful guest collaboration to date. The H&M x Alexander Wang collection was insanely popular. Everything was sold out within the first few minutes. Everyone was already waiting to purchase online that the site crashed before it's release time. I'm pretty happy that I got my hands on the crop top sweater that I was swooning over.

[Side note] It's totally not funny, but I thought it needed to be mentioned. There were several fights that broke out because people so desperately wanted pieces from this collection. It's really not that serious guys. If you didn't get it, too bad. Get over it. Definitely not worth hitting or getting hit over.

Fashion Tip: Crop tops don't have to be worn alone. A white shirt underneath or collared top underneath crop tops go hand in hand. It's a great way to layer, as seen in my Refinery29 feature - seen HERE.

I had the best time hosting the pop-up shop along with blogger babes Vicky of Fashion by Vicky, Alyssa of Living In Style OC and Jamie of Bijou Minou. PAUL FRANK GIRLS NIGHT IN

I got invited to my very first slumber party with Paul Frank x FashionLaine! Seriously though. It was the BEST setup EVER! We had mani stations, DIY tables, photo booths, flash tattoo areas and so much more. Girls Night In has never been better!

Fashion Tip: Today's tip. Everyone should have a girls night in to relax, hang out and get mani's. I totally recommend it.

A huge thanks to @IAMFASHIONLAINE and Red Light PR for throwing the best slumber party I've ever been to. The food was amazing and the photo booth set up was EPIC. I totally took advantage and photo banged it all night - OBVI. The cutest thing is that everyone was dressed in Paul Frank jammies. It was so soft and comfy and I can't wait to wear the onesie that came in my goody bag!!

Sometimes, you need to take a break, get your nails done and have a night in with your girls!

LADYLIKE LAYERS

Happy Monday everyone! Who's ready for another work week!? I'm sure as hell not. But I know we'll get through it! We're getting cold weather here in Orange County (like 40 degrees at night) so I get to style my uber chic coats finally! I'm transitioning my summer Express skirt to a more winter look with a knitted top and the coziest camel coat.

Fashion Tip: Layering gets tricky, especially with coats because they're so bulky. Make sure everything is proportionate so your outfit doesn't look unbalanced. Example: If the coat is too short, your entire outfit would look a little off. If your inside top is too long it covers too much of the skirt and takes away from the midi. It's all about balance.

One of my favorite Fall items is a good coat. I'm so happy I found this camel colored coat at Forever 21! They have a great selection of coats so don't be so quick to write them off. They're still a great shopping option - for me anyways. Definitely invest in a couple cute coats for the season... a trench, a pea or a faux fur coat will be great to layer with this season.

Keep it classy, never trashy but just a lil bit nasty!
