i've been dying to do a milk braid but have no idea how to do it so of course i bugged my gf scarlet to do it for me.  it's a little girly but i LOVE it!

break it downtown all around!

i dressed each outfit around one main piece:

outfit #1: Zara foldover skort -
paired with lace black top from luna boutique, forever21 mesh booties & h&m necklace.

outfit #2: Gypsum lola kimono & mirrored sunnies -
paired with one teaspoon shorts, bakers boots & no rest for bridget purse.

outfit #3: forever 21 cuffed drawstring pants -
paired with kelsi dagger snakeskin heels & h&m necklace.

outfit #4: lovers + friends shorts -
paired with vince top, Zara heels.

OC Fashion Showcase was a hectic week but it was well worth it. i got to catch up with many of my blogger babes and view new collections by several talented designers. i met some amazing people along the way and i can't wait for next year's showcase!

there were several great lines at oC fashion showcase but FBF by Checka was by far my favorite. obviously i recorded the final walk because it's the best part of any fashion show BUT you can shop their collection here.

ok so i wouldn't wear this for my birthday or to a wedding, but i think she looks gorgeous in this ML.

and i'm sorry to say that even though Kayne said you're pretty awesome last night, your HAUTE COUCH-TURE get up was a #majorfail. WORST DRESSED AWARD GOES TO the fabulous Kim Kardashian. you can be the BEST WORST dressed celebrity. how about that? so you can still be the best at something.

day 2 of oC fashion showcase was at the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity in SOCO. FYI, if you haven't been there, you should really go. they have pretty good eats and cute boutiques there.

SO. my favorite thing about day 2 of oC fashion showcase was the sustainable fashion competition where contestants create outfits based on household items. these ladies were pretty damn creative! it was a fun filled evening with my blogger babes.
