OK. SO. I'm loving my new Karl Kani jeans. They're so cute and super comfy. I recently came across these babies and got 3 pairs! They're a Japanese brand so I'm hoping they start bringing them over here so I don't have to go through so much trouble to get my hands on them. I got these rose/coral-y colored ones, a hologram-printed gray pair and a forest green pair. The weather is starting to lighten up and so are the colors in my closet.

think pink,

See how An (Haute Pink Pretty) styles her Senhoa x Coco Rocha necklace with a casual outfit. All you need is statement jewelry to dress up jeans and a tee.

I love how An styled 2 different looks with the Senhoa necklace:

Outfit Deets:
Pants: Zara
Belt & Rings: Luna Boutique
Clutch: f21
Shoes: Aldo

Work outfit changed to dinner outfit. Sparkly, harlem styled pants are so fun to play with, but I think it only works for taller people since it's a little loose fitted with baggy pockets. Thank gooooodness it looks fantastic on me! loll.. wouldn't matter either way. I am in love with these pants. They're comfy and more easy to wear than you would think. Take a step on the not-so-safe side and grab a pair.

wear what you want. do what you want.

Red carpet is my favorite part of any award show. I love the fashion hits and misses! If any of you watched the Oscars, I'm sure my top 3 best dressed list is not surprising at all. I wasn't entirely impressed with the fashion choices tonight so yea... this post was nice and easy breezy.

1. Stacy Keibler ELF in Naeem Khan
George does this to every girl he dates - give themn fabulous makeovers. I totally believe that money doesn't buy you happiness, but it sure does buy you a celebrity stylist and designer wardrobe! She's always been hot, but now she's hot with a sense of style.

2. Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture
I fell in love with her in "Silver Linings Playbook" with Bradley Cooper. She was the absolute definition of crazy, sexy, beautiful. Her Dior gown looked amazing on her. Simple, classy and gorgeous. It fit her like a glove.

3. Amy Adams in Oscar de la Renta
I'm a sucker for gowns like this so Amy Adams being on my top 3 "Best Dressed" list is a no brainer. I love the color, the style and the fancy train.

And that's the scoop troop! Happy Sunday Funday everyone!

So, the most exciting thing happened. I'm featured on Haute Visual as February's Fashionista of the Month!! eeeep! February has been an amazing month so far. I won the new iPad on AMP RADIO last week, yup that's right - AMP RADIO! And now? A fashion blogging feature on an amazing fashion website that connects brands with influencers. Wanna read my interview? Of course you do! Here's a little teaser. :)

title Untitled
Haute Visual’s February Fashionista of the Month is Joann Doan, also known as Jo, from her blog, Love Fashion | Live Life. She is a coffee addicted, shoe obsessed, Marketing Expert by day and Fashion Blogger by night. For those of you who know her, she has a comfortable, casual, and chic style with a fun smile and personality. She has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and is currently getting her MBA in Marketing Management. We love to see beautiful women with a strong education and keen sense of style, all while helping the community at the same time.

What does fashion mean to you? I believe that fashion and style are different but go hand in hand together. Fashion is what designers provide you at every fashion show every season. What you do with their amazing designs represents your personal style. Fashion is a creative outlet that gives people the opportunity to express themselves as individuals. Fashion gives people the chance to stand out from the crowd. Fashion for me is my passion and my personality. As I go through different phases of my life, my fashion and style change accordingly to match that. It’s an ever changing and evolving process.

What made you start your blog? I named my blog Love Fashion | Live Life because it’s a pretty accurate description of me and my life. I love fashion and I like to live my life to the fullest. I started my blog when I was going through a career change and finally had the time to invest in something that expressed my likes/dislikes in fashion. I wanted to create a personal fashion diary that not only shared my personal style but also showcased my life adventures. I also felt that I have a practical, yet trendy sense of style and fashion tips that I wanted to share with others. And so, the blogging began.

What do you do when you’re not blogging or working? Go on life adventures, kiss my bf, try being a foodie then think about joining a gym. Advice for other bloggers or fashion business owners? Other fashion bloggers: keep doing what you love. The market isn’t saturated. Anyone can blog but it takes a little something special to incorporate their personality and love into it.

They asked me to list some Haute items and they put it in a collage for me:

1. Manolo Blanik Hangisi Jeweled Pump – classic must have
2. Balenciaga by Nicolas Bhesquiere Gold Rings – a ring party to die for
3. Clear Clutch – my next DIY project
4. Celine – must have luggage bag
5. Chloe perfume – my signature scent
6. Jeffrey Campbell Soiree – clear shoes without being a stripper
7. Schutz Akshya Sandal – purchasing as we speak
8. Valentino Rock Stud Pump – saving for these beauties
9. Beetlejuice Pants – who doesn’t want beetlejuice pants?! They’re happeningggg!

I went to support my old manager from Bakers Shoes at her new home - manager at Guess at South Coast Plaza. They had an exclusive event with Marie Claire and it was uberly fancy! They had a DJ booth, delicious macaroons, drawings, a free manicure booth and a mini makeover table. It was an all out spoil yourself event.

These may look like every other cake pop you've seen or had but I kid you not, these things were laced with some super addicting amazingly good powder or something. It was absolutely finger-licking YUM. I tracked down the cake pop guy to clean him out. Seriously.
I can't resist a mani...
I wanted to go very rainbow colored Valentine's Day themed.

A very "Hello Lover" moment.

If you can recall my Prabal x Target post, you'll remember that I these babies were on my "must have or else I'll die" list. lol I obviously wasn't kidding! They're beautiful and well worth the wait. I haven't had any luck finding simple, sexy, strappy red heels so I've been eyeing these since I found out about the collabo. The price is right, the designer is amazing so yay me for scoring another pair of beautiful babies for my collection.

Forever shoe obsessed,

My 8-5 chic-ness. I remember when I used to shop for Vegas clothes every weekend but nowadays its seems as if the only things in my closet are collared shirts, knitted sweaters and fancy pants. I traded in the party life for the corporate life. I'm saving the sheer, tight and lacey things for birthday and special ocassions now! lol...

SO, I've been eyeing these amazingly gorgeous Stella McCartney holographic pumps. The only thing is that I've gone way over my shoe allowance shopping this month (3 in 3 days... #idie). Stella's are $760. GAH. Good news! I found these other holographic pumps from Forever 21 that isn't as amazing - OBVI! - but it'll do for now, especially since it's only $25 dollars babyyyy. Yea that's right, balla on a budget. What whaaat?!

Stella's vs. f21
I'm sure you can see the difference... BUT... see outfit post below:

It totally works for what I need it for. Major stand out shoes no? Paired with my necklace, it's holographic perfection!

LA fashion blogger An Dyer of Haute Pink Pretty shows off her personal style with Senhoa's Coco Rocha collection. She channeled her inner rocker CHIC and topped it off with bold statement jewelry. Here are some of her looks:
3 2 5 1
Nicely put together and very edgy. I loves! You can see more of An on her blog: Haute Pink Pretty.

The Coco Collection is pretty popular with fashion bloggers! The first time I wore it was at Senhoa's Cocktails for a Cause Rundraiser and it totally made my outfit! I wore it again with my LBD for a birthday dinner. It's a versatile necklace that can be worn with so many different styles. It's by far my favorite Senhoa piece.

Want a closer look? Shop here.

Perks of living in SoCal: beautiful weather and so many sites to see.

I'm not really sure if there's a right way to "see" art, but LACMA is one of my favorite art museums to visit. They have the coolest structures and interesting paintings. I have a really short attention span so it's awesome to have 392873049 different things to look at.

stay inspired,
