i needed a breather so i went to the beach to relax and clear my mind.. all i want is for time to stand still so i can have those little happy moments for as long as possible. sometimes, life gets in the way and i lose track of what really makes me happy and what makes me.. ME. i realized that life will always go on, even if i'm not ready for it to. so instead of missing out on all the amazing possibilities, i just need to embrace that life has its ups and downs and trust that i will ALWAYS be ok.

what i've learned: be strong during the hard times, because they don't last forever and enjoy the great times because they don't last forever either. what i need is BALANCE.

BOOM BAM POW. have you ever seen a TANK while shopping?! the roomies and i took a trip to the OAKLEY headquarters to shop and this is what we found. how awesome is that? they're based on top of a hill that actually looks like it could be the filming site for the next transformers movie. BIBLE. i couldn't help but take a picture with it.. i actually wanted to DRIVE it, but i'm sure that would've been like.. illegal?

2. BEACH DAY to forget life's troubles. nothing beats a girls day out.. the weather was amazing, the sun felt great and for just a few seconds, i forgot about everything around me.

sometimes, you need to just take a day and getaway..

it's starting to get warm again so i'm bringing back all my shorts, rompers, skirts and dresses. time to show some leg!! ...after i lose about 4 lbs and get a nice even tan.

mint green is a good color to have in your closet this summer. i'm not sure what it is but i just feel oh so fresh and springy when i wear it. it adds just the right amount of color to a blah outfit so you don't have to do much else besides acessorize properly. easy peasy lemon squeezy isn't it?

SO. my go-to obsession is jewelry. stacked rings and bracelets are easiest for me to add to my outfit as i'm rushing out the door, usually late for something or meeting someone. i always buy rings/bracelets here and there while i'm shopping so i have more to mix in later with my stash of accessories.. but it's still not enough.

that just means one thing.. i can't ever stop shopping!
