new purchases

mMmmm sooo.. one of my obvious addictions is my shoe habit. i saw these jessica simpson t-strap chunky platforms and completely fell in love with them.. the problem was that i couldn't decide which color i needed more. i literally agonized over which color for like 2 days - no joke. i know it's sad. SO i ended up getting both!! the red pumps are from bakers [i'm forever loyal to them] and that was love at first sight for me too.. ladies, choose your heels like you choose your men. you just have to feel that connection instantly. my purse is like a 3 in 1. it can be carried as a clutch, side bag and shoulder bag. too cute and the color is super neutral. there was no way i could've passed. so that was my weekend shopping spree. now i have to cut up my credit cards..

through all the ups and downs i will always have my sister to lean on. we're so different in every way but we love each other like there's no one else in the world. she's finally moving back to california so we won't have to be apart anymore!!

i LOVE her! my partner in crime. without her i don't think this blog or my portfolio would be possible. i drag her everywhere i go... parties, dinners, shopping sprees - everywhere! she's the paparazzi, the photographer, the editor all wrapped in one. AND she is my live navigator. i'd probably be somewhere in mexico by now if i didn't have her on the phone with me all the time! she helps me with so much and i'm so happy to have her in my life!

she's a monster, beautiful monster

this is what i feel like when i only have one eyelash on!! colored contacts, eye shadow and amazing lashes makes a huge difference on girls with small eyes... like meeeee! i even tested it out and showed the boyfriend, i think i might have scared him a little bit. and just to be fair, the girl in this picture will look super cute once she finishes the other eye.

spent the day at huntington beach with my favorite texan! had some drinks, shared a pickle, rode a bike. it's always an adventure with this girl because she somehow always manages to run people over, whether its on a bike or in a car. luckily i controlled the brakes on the bike so no one died. if you only knew the things she and i go through together.. lol i should have a separate blog called "the adventures of joann and vicky." never a dull moment when we're together.

photoshoot time with miss anaheim - kelleen chea! i used only senhoa jewelry on her for this shoot and i wanted all her outfits to have more of a simple and elegant look so that the jewelry itself can just shine. more pictures will be posted soon of all the behind the scene action and all of the people that help made this shoot possible. keep checking! :)

blazer shopping

my favorite place to shop for blazers is urban outfitters. they have a ton of other cute stuff too but most of my blazers come from here. i have my eye on the tan one and the red ringmaster looking one. my blazers make my mini dresses look less slutty, my ruffly shirts look more professional and my denim shorts look more fall. something i definitely cannot live without.

IK warehouse sale!
